Ice and Snow in the Climatic System

International Glaciological Symposium will be held in the Kazan’,Russia from May 31 through June 3, 2010.

The main topic of the Symposium is «Ice and Snow in the Climatic System». The Glaciological Association, Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Kazan’ State University are organizing the meeting.

The Symposium will cover a wide range of glaciological problems based on results obtained from recent investigations of processes between the cryosphere and all types of natural ices with the atmosphere. Each oral presentation will be allowed 20 minutes, including discussion. The program includes blocks of time for poster presentations and discussion.

Abstracts, up to 250 words in length, exclusive of title and authorship, should be sent to the Symposium site < glas-conf.igras.ru > before February 1, 2010.
