Dr. Gerhard Kuhn has already drawn a conclusion by stating that the data will help in predicting how global warming will affect polar ice, etc. I fear that this past northern hemisphere winter will send the climate changers back to the drawing board, not to mention freezing temperatures and snow in Turkey, Lebanon, South China and Afghanistan. I know that one robin doth not guarantee that spring has arrived but please, don’t rationalize this cold year (2007-2008) as a global warming phenomenon. It could just be the first year of a “return to the mean”.
