Photo: Scott Island with Haggit
I saw Scott Island from about two miles away, from the deck of the cruise ship Marco Polo in early 1999. We thought we were lucky to see anything,on a misty day. At the time I considered the island was one mile wide but above I read it’s much smaller. I do not recall seeing the pillar but as a former rock climber I can say the photo looks challenging.
